That Your Fruit Should Remain

How do we know when we have been successful making disciples?

Are we really reproducing that which Jesus expected when He said we should be "teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you" (Matt 28:18-20) In John 15 He says that He appointed us to bear fruit, fruit that lasts! This is all in the context of abiding in Him and loving one another... Actually you should read it now;

“As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love. If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love.

Lord, Teach Us How to Pray

Well I have been working hard on a small booklet on prayer for some time and I think its time to get some feedback now. This is really the first I have attempted to write anything and I hope it encourages someone out there.

Here is what I am attempting in this book.

  1. This is a book that is supposed to help someone to get a grip on what devotional or relational prayer is and inspire them to go for it
  2. I want the book to be easy to read and to translate

Why Did God Create Man?

We were created in God's image and for relationship with Him

Gen 1:26 And God said, Let Us make man in Our image, after Our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the heavens, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over all the creepers creeping on the earth... And God saw everything that He had made, and behold, it was very good.

Why did God create man Was it for us to worship Him? Was He lonely?

Follow Me

What does it mean to be a follower of Christ?

Luke 14:25-35 Now large crowds were going along with Him; and He turned and said to them, (26)

Study Resources

Here are some of the resources that I use when studying the Bible:

First of all I love e-sword it is better in my opinion than most paid Bible software, here is the description from the e-sword site;

e-Sword is a fast and effective way to study the Bible. e-Sword is feature rich and user friendly with more capabilities than you would expect in a free software package. The fact that e-Sword is free is just one of the blessings and does not speak of the quality of the software.
